COVID-19 Safety Procedures for Employees

Below is an outline of the standard procedures we need to keep to ensure we are all operating at a high safety standard. This is a fluid guide that will change as the situation evolves.

Before entering, scan temperatures. For temps over 100.4 Please notify the shift manager and do not enter the building.

Gloves and masks to be worn at all times. We will provide you PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) when it becomes available. Current inventory is low, so we need to make it stretch until we are replenished.

Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces daily in common areas with Clorox wipes (e.g. handles on tools, machinery, tables, hard-backed chairs, doorknobs, light switches, remotes, handles, desks, keyboards, toilets, sinks, cell phones, shared spaces) This is not the glamorous side of the project, but to ensure safety to all, we will all be doing this every time we are on shift.

Maintain 6-ft. distance from others at all times. If you need to work with other people, pause and discuss how you will complete the task safely.

Dispose of PPE in designated area away from processing area.

Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water for 20 seconds. When to wash hands:

After returning from a public outing

Before leaving the bathroom

Before, during and after preparing food / eating food

Before and after treating a cut or wound

After blowing your nose, coughing, or sneezing

After touching garbage

After you remove PPE

When in doubt, wash your hand

After these parts leave our facilities they will enter another building. So it is critical that we do our part by making sure we have done our due diligence.

Thank you for stepping up to the challenge. This project will help save lives and keep people safe.
